Dance for Peace and Listening
Come and join us for this dance, framed in a well loved Movement Medicine ceremony format, where will will dance our hopes, dreams and prayers for peace and listening:
Within ourselves; with others in our lives; within community, including all of life on earth; with those that have gone before and those that are yet to come and our connection to spirit; and with the great mystery of it all.
We wish to gather to be together and dance at this particular moment to raise much needed funds for families affected by the escalated crisis in Ukraine. To include in our prayers all the other places on the planet where there is also war, destruction and displacement.
The event is generously supported by Dartington who have given us the venue and support with making it available over the airwaves free of charge. Every person involved is donating their time and equipment. So every penny raised will go directly to the Ukrainian Crisis appeal at shelterbox.org:

We chose this charity to make a link with other humanitarian disasters, in their words:
Right now, more than 113 million people around the world have been made homeless by disaster and conflict. We’re working to change this.
By providing emergency shelter and tools for families robbed of their homes by disaster, we’re transforming despair into hope.
We want to see a world where no family is left without shelter after disaster.
The event will be led by:
Rosie Perks, Jo Hardy, Eliza Hope Kenyon, Christian de Sousa, Ben Tree & Ben Yeger all of whom are Movement Medicine teachers and facilitators. Equally important members of the event creation team are Emilio Mula, Lies van Hee and Sarah Kelly.
